[Customer testimonial]
A year ago, I was not allowed to renew my student visa, so I ended up with a one-month visa to prepare for departure.
Of course I didn't want to be separated from my wife in Japan, but I also wanted to talk to someone about what we should do to continue living together in Japan.

So, on my way back from the Immigration Bureau, I found a poster of the Support Gyoseishoshi Law Firm.I also found I can consult in Chinese. So, I tried calling.
In my case, there was only one week left until my period of stay expired, so when I went to seek advice, I was filled with anxiety, worried that I wouldn't even be able to apply.
The person in charge supported me well, and I was able to prepare all the documents in a short period of time, and was able to successfully apply.

I was worried from the time I applied until I got the results, wondering if it was really okay. However the person in charge thoroughly explained things I didn't understand, documents, and the process after applying.
Two weeks after I applied, I received a call from the person in charge giving me permission, and I'm really glad I made the request.

And now it's time for an update,In terms of trust and price, I would definitely use their service again.
I was able to apply for the second request immediately.
Of course, I was given permission, and I am very satisfied with the speed and service.
I would definitely recommend Support to others.
My wife also introduced the staff member who was in charge to her friends (lol).
The person in charge supported me through the procedure twice, and I think he is a very kind and gentle person.
She explained difficult Japanese in detail, so even though I am not good at Japanese, I was able to trust her with confidence.

【Customer testimonial】
We have Vietnamese staff, so I felt confident in making the request.
The speed of response and the quality of work were all very satisfying.
Thank you very much for your support until the end.
I would like to request you again next time.

[Comment from the person in charge (person in charge: Milin)]
This is an inquiry from Facebook for a Vietnamese international student.

As a result of many additional documents being requested, the application was rejected on the first try, but without giving up, we directly asked the Immigration Bureau the reason for the rejection, looked for improvements, and made suggestions to the client.
As a result, the application was approved in just XNUMX weeks after reapplying!

We can handle everything from the interview stage onward in your native language, so please feel free to contact us.

Student Visa Overview

What is a student visa? Application requirements, period, and examples explained

A student visa is a visa required to study at a university or graduate school in Japan, and is one of the residence statuses required to receive an education in Japan.
The Immigration Control Act defines it as "activities to receive education at a Japanese university, technical college, high school (including the upper level of a secondary education school), the upper level of a special needs school, a vocational school, a miscellaneous school, or an institution equivalent to these in terms of facilities and organization."

This status of residence is essential for legally staying in Japan to study at an educational institution, and is characterized by the wide range of educational institutions it covers.
In addition, in order to promote international exchange from a young age, junior high school and elementary school students may be granted "study abroad" residence status.

Types of Student Visa

There are several types of student visas depending on the educational institution and length of stay.
For example, the application procedures and documents required will differ depending on whether you are studying at a university or graduate school, attending a vocational school, or going on to high school.
In addition, short-term language study abroad or research student activities may also be covered by a student visa.

Conditions for obtaining a student visa

To obtain a student visa, you must meet several conditions.

Activity Requirements

First of all, the most important prerequisite is that you have been accepted into a Japanese educational institution.
The letter of admission is an important document that indicates that an applicant has been officially accepted into an educational institution such as a university, vocational school, or high school in Japan.
Without this your student visa application will not be accepted.

Another condition is that you are eligible for residence status.
Eligibility for a status of residence refers to whether the activities that a foreign national intends to carry out in Japan match the status of residence that the foreign national is applying for.
If you are an international student, you will be considered eligible for the residence status if you are planning to "engage in the activity of receiving an education in Japan as an international student."
The Immigration Control Act defines "the activity of receiving an education in Japan as a foreign student" as follows:

Activities to receive education at a university, a college of technology, a high school (including the latter course of a secondary education school) or the upper level of a special needs school, a junior high school (including the latter course of a compulsory education school and the first course of a secondary education school) or the junior high level of a special needs school, an elementary school (including the first course of a compulsory education school) or the elementary level of a special needs school, a vocational school, a miscellaneous school, or an institution equivalent to these in terms of facilities and organization in Japan.

Financial Requirements

Applicants must have sufficient assets (including scholarships) to cover the necessary living expenses during their stay in Japan.
Living expenses include tuition, study materials, housing, food, transportation, etc.

Applicants must also have sufficient funds to cover their tuition and living expenses by submitting a financial support document and clearly indicating who is providing the support.
The sponsor can be not only the applicant, but also a relative or a third party.
However, in that case, you will be required to submit supporting documents such as an income certificate and a bank balance certificate from the sponsor to prove your ability to pay.
This will ensure that you are able to fully cover the financial burden you will incur while studying in Japan.

Education Requirements

The educational requirements include those who have received Japanese language education for more than six months at a Japanese language educational institution, or those who have been proven by an examination that they have sufficient Japanese language proficiency to receive education in Japan, as well as those who have received more than one year of education in a Japanese elementary, junior high, or high school.

To prove your Japanese language proficiency, you must meet the following criteria:
Specifically, candidates are required to have achieved N2 (Level 2) or above on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, a score of 200 or above on the Japanese language subject of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students, or a score of 400 or above on the BJT Business Japanese Proficiency Test.
