What is an Intra-Company Transferee Visa?
This visa is required when you are "transferred" to work at a Japanese company from an affiliated company such as a subsidiary overseas.
As for the activity content, the requirements are the same as "engineering/specialist in humanities/international work", so you cannot do what is called simple work such as customer service or work at a construction site.
For Intra-Company Transferee Visa, the important point is the relationship between the company you work in your home country and the company you plan to work in Japan.
Additionally, you are expected to return to your home country after a certain period of time, and you cannot continue working indefinitely, so please be careful when planning your transfer.
What types of cases qualify as intra-company transfers?
■Transfer between head office (head office) and branch office (branch)
■Transfer between parent company and subsidiary
■Transfer between subsidiaries
There are also other applicable cases, including instances involving subsidiaries and even sub-subsidiaries.
We will accurately understand the complex and diverse inter-company relationships and provide appropriate advice.
Requirements for obtaining an intra-company transferee visa
■ Must have been engaged in work that falls under the "Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services" visa for at least one year at the overseas office before the "transfer"
■Receive remuneration equal to or higher than that of Japanese people (*At least a stable remuneration of around 20 JPY is required.)
