Health and Welfare Bureau | If you are designated as long-term care insurance, you will be designated as medical insurance. *Deemed designation means that hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies that are designated as health care institutions and insurance pharmacies under the Health Insurance Act are deemed to have been designated as medical service providers under the Nursing Care Insurance Act. |

Necessary procedures in case 2
Prefectures | Since home-visit nursing is primarily part of the business, there is no need to apply for approval to amend the articles of incorporation. |
Health and Welfare Bureau | If you have already been designated by an insurance medical institution, no special procedures are required. |
Municipality | If a business is designated as an insurance medical institution, it will be deemed to be designated, and there is no need to apply for designation if the business is designated as an insurance medical institution. |
Regarding addition of facility standards
Even if you are considered a designated visiting nursing business under the Health Insurance Act by applying for designation based on the Long-term Care Insurance Act, notification is required as part of the calculation requirements.
When calculating items for home nursing care expenses, it is necessary to submit a notification to each prefecture or local welfare (branch) bureau.
Additions under the Nursing Care Insurance Act must be reported to each prefecture, and additions under the Health Insurance Act must be reported to the local welfare (branch) bureau.
