In the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's notification "About processing policy for permission applications for general freight motor transport business and specific freight motor vehicle transport business", one of the legal compliance items to be examined is ``the applicant or the officer of the corporation must be in the freight motor vehicle transport business. ``Have the legal knowledge necessary to carry out the work, and comply with the relevant laws and regulations.''
As a result, in the following cases, executives dedicated to freight transportation business will be required to pass a legal examination.
| 1 | When applying for a business license for general freight vehicle transportation business. This includes cases of special consolidated cargo transportation. However, this does not apply to cases where a specified motor vehicle transportation business obtains a new license for general motor vehicle transportation business at the same time as the business license is abolished. |
| 2 | In the case of business transfer/transfer, merger, split, or inheritance approval application for general freight motor vehicle transportation business. This includes cases of special consolidated cargo transportation. However, this does not apply if an existing business that has obtained a general freight vehicle transportation business license continues to exist. |

Candidates taking the legal exam
Only one person can take the test per application, and if the applicant is a natural person, the applicant must take the test; if the applicant is a corporation, after permission or approval, an officer dedicated to the business applying for the test must take the test. there is. How to conduct a legal exam
(1) The law exam will be held every other month (odd months).
(2) As a general rule, the first legal examination will be taken in the month following the month in which the permit application, etc. is received.
(3) If you do not meet the passing criteria after taking the legal examination, you may take the legal examination again only once in the following month.
(4) If a passing score is not achieved on the re-examination, the applicant will be dismissed.
(5) If you pass the legal examination, you will begin applying for permits and approvals.
