Permit for construction vehicles

Restrictions by Vehicle Restriction Order
Vehicles that can be driven on public roads and exceed the vehicle limit for construction equipment are special vehicles and must apply for a traffic permit.
The vehicle limit value is the limit value stipulated by the Vehicle Restriction Order of the Road Act.
The limit is
Width 2.5m, length 12m, height 3.8m, weight (total weight 20t, axle load 10t, wheel load 5t), minimum turning radius 12m (cannot turn with radius less than 12m)
is stipulated.
If this limit is exceeded, you will need to apply for a special vehicle traffic permit.

Special construction vehicle
Construction vehicles include truck cranes with a crane capacity of 20 tons or more (vehicle weight of 20 tons or more), wheel cranes with a crane capacity of 20 tons or more (vehicle weight of 20 tons or more), and standard packet capacity of 3.0 or more (flat load) (vehicle weight of 20 tons or more). This is a wheeled tractor excavator, a wheeled foundation construction machine with a vehicle weight of 20 tons or more.

Additionally, if you need a special vehicle to transport construction machinery or equipment, you will need to apply for a special vehicle permit.
If it is possible to transport by vehicle that does not exceed the limit value, there is no need to apply for a permit.
All heavy semi-trailers require a special vehicle permit.
