| 1 Checking the health status of workers | ・Perform warm-up exercises and flexibility exercises to keep your body in good condition. ・Balanced diet ・Enough sleep |
| 2 Inspection of clothing | ・Wearing clean and well-maintained work clothes ・Wear a hard hat correctly (always keep the chin strap on) ・Tie the laces of safety shoes securely. ・Wear gloves, safety glasses, etc. ・Wear a fluorescent vest if the inside of the refrigerator is dark. ・When placing items, be sure to make it easy to work. ・Be sure to return used items to their original locations. |
| 3 Adding and breaking work | ① Attaching ・Choose a flat ground or floor surface for the crawling location, and before starting work, remove pebbles, wood chips, etc., and clean any areas contaminated by water or oil. ・Determine the loading method, bottom length, number of stacks, height, etc. depending on the type and quantity of cargo. - Secure passageways according to the type and quantity of cargo, loading method, equipment used, etc. ・If there is a risk of the scaffolding collapsing or falling, no one other than the workers may enter. - If there is a possibility that the load may collapse, secure it with ropes, etc. - If the package is round, use anti-rolling devices. ② Breaking down ・Do not cut out the middle, start from the top. ・Communicate with the workers receiving the cargo below to avoid receiving mistakes. ・After completing the break-up, tidy up the surrounding area. |
| 4 Forklift work | - In the workplace, walk paths should be defined and marked. ・During work, entry by anyone other than those involved is prohibited. - Never place anyone on the forklift's claws or counterweight. ・Since visibility in front of a forklift is poor, be careful in front, back, left, and right, and at the same time, if there is a large load, do the following: ・Driving in reverse (equipment of a rear buzzer, use of fog lights) ・Guidance shall be provided by a guide as necessary. ・Establish, display, and adhere to speed limits. - Load cargo on pallets safely and securely, and if there is a risk of the cargo collapsing, take safe measures such as wrapping the cargo with headbands. ・When driving on the road, use a pallet or skid, or attach a sign to the tip of the fork. ・Follow the four principles for stopping a forklift. ① Park on level ground. ② Lower the fork (tip of the claw) to the floor. ③ Stop the engine and remove the key. ④Pull the handbrake and stop the tires. ・Forklifts must be operated by those with a qualification certificate (those who have completed the skills training). (Even if you are driving in a place where the Road Traffic Act does not apply, you are required to obtain and carry a driving qualification under the Safety and Health Act.) |
| 5 Conveyor work | - Dress properly and securely fasten cuffs and hems. ・Check the switch and cabtation cord for damage before starting work. ・Place the cargo correctly in the center of the conveyor. ・People must not ride on the conveyor while it is in operation. ・Ensure sufficient safety of the conveyor. ・When starting operation, call to people around you and have them pay attention to the conveyor. ・Confirm the location of the emergency stop device and investigation methods in advance so that you can respond immediately even if an emergency stop is required. - If the floor is wet, electricity may leak from the cabtire cord, so cover it with sleepers to avoid moisture and humidity. |
| 6 Crane work | ・Signals should be given by a predetermined person in a predetermined manner. (Signals by multiple people are strictly prohibited.) ・Prevent the crane from collapsing by making sure the outriggers are sufficiently extended in areas where the ground is strong. - Prohibit anyone other than related workers from entering the area around the work area. ・Be sure to test hang the product. - Hoisting should be done by giving a signal after the slinger or assistant is sufficiently far away from the load. ・Never pull sideways as this can cause the cargo to sway and be dangerous. |
| 7 Fall, fall | ・Appropriate clothing, especially a hard hat suitable for the work, should be worn by clipping the ear to the chin strap. - When working on a load or crawler, pay attention to your feet and body's center of gravity. ・When performing work such as tightening ropes or hanging sheets on the cargo, do so while maintaining a safe position and posture. ・When working at heights of 2 meters or more, ensure that the appropriate protective gear and devices are available for the work situation, such as scaffolding, handrails, opening covers, lifelines, and protective nets. ・If you have to climb up on the sidelines for work such as hanging a seat on a truck or hanging a rope, use auxiliary steps. ・Maintain the necessary illuminance for work. ・When climbing on the roof, take measures to prevent stepping on it. |
| 8 Flying, falling | ・Do not forcefully attach or load the product. - Carry out crouching and loading in accordance with the prescribed methods. - In workplaces where there is a risk of cargo collapsing, flying, or falling, take measures such as wrapping cargo in headbands or setting up protective nets, and if any danger is discovered, immediately stop work and make repairs. ・When hanging a load, sling properly. - Never go under a suspended load. ・Ensure sufficient stability of the conveyor during conveyor work. ・When working together, ask each other loudly, "Okay?" and "Okay!" and work in unison. ・Wear clothing appropriate for the work, including a hard hat and safety shoes. |
| 9 Fall | ・Keep the work area tidy and maintain a good working environment. ・When working on an uneven or soft work floor, devise a work method that suits the situation. - When getting off a vehicle or cargo handling machine, use the handrail or steps and check your footing before getting off. ・When going up or down stairs, check your step and move slowly to avoid tripping or misstepping. ・When carrying cargo with two or more people, thoroughly discuss work methods, work positions, etc. before starting work, and then communicate with each other to ensure the work is carried out reliably. |
