It is possible to obtain warehousing business registration even if the walls do not meet the strength requirements.

Specifically, we will take the following measures.
・Storing items using racks, etc. to prevent cargo from collapsing

・Store items at the same height distance from the outside wall so that the outside wall will not be affected even if the cargo collapses.

The roof and exterior walls are required to have a structure that prevents water from penetrating.

In addition, as equipment to prevent water infiltration, rain gutters that can effectively drain rainwater must be provided, and gutters and accompanying drainage channels and equipment that use water must be installed inside the warehouse and equipment installed adjacent to the warehouse. There is no particular problem as long as the window itself does not exceed 1m in length and width.

The code number "08510" is a requirement for buildings, so coordination with the government is required.

The requirements for registration refusal are as follows.

① If the applicant has been sentenced to imprisonment for one year or more, and two years have not yet passed since the day the applicant completed the sentence or ceased to be subject to the sentence.

② When the applicant has had his/her registration canceled and two years have not yet passed since the date of the cancellation.

③ If the applicant is a corporation, and its officers fall under any of the above two conditions.

④ When the warehouse facilities or equipment do not meet the standards specified by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism depending on the type of warehouse.　　
⑤ When it is not recognized that the warehouse management chief will be appointed reliably.

If you operate a warehouse without registration, you will be subject to imprisonment for up to one year or a fine of up to 100 million yen.

A person other than a warehousing business will be subject to a fine of up to 50 yen if he or she displays, advertises, or performs any other act that misleads people into thinking that the business he or she operates is a warehousing business.

It is not possible to operate a warehouse business in residential areas other than quasi-residential areas or in urbanization control areas that do not have a development permit.

The standard processing period is two months under the authority of the Director-General of the Transport Bureau and three months under the authority of the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
