Notification of change/renewal of secondhand goods dealer license

If there are any changes to the matters listed on the permit, notification of the change is required.

  • Change of trade item
  • Change of officers
  • Officer address change
  • Expansion of sales offices
  • Relocation or closure of business office
  • Change of Administrator
  • Change of administrator's address Change of office name
  • Conducting online transactions
    *No notification is required if there is no information about the antique, such as a simple company website, or if you are listing one item at a time on an auction site.

Notification destination and deadline

Applicant

  • Police station where the permit was issued
  • If you have relocated your business office after obtaining permission and have filed a notification, the police station with jurisdiction over the location of that business office will be the place of your notification.

This is within 14 days from the date of the change (within 20 days if the change requires a certificate of registered information to be attached).

There is no fee for notifying changes.

Documents to be submitted

  • Notification of change (Appendix Form No. 5, Part 1 (A), Part 3 (as appropriate))
    →If there are multiple changes, you can submit all of them in one document by filling out the change columns.
  • Attached document
    Depending on the changes, additional documents may be required.

If the information on the permit changes, you will need to apply for a renewal of the permit.
