In Tokyo, the reception desk is different depending on the metropolitan area and municipalities.

When registering to qualify to participate in bidding with local governments within Tokyo, there are reception desks set up in the prefecture and in the wards, cities, towns, and villages, and you will need to select the local government you would like to participate in the bidding with and apply.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has established a system called the "Tokyo Metropolitan Government Electronic Procurement System," and if you wish to participate in a bidding project commissioned by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, you must register your eligibility to participate in the bidding with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

Registration applications are accepted both on a regular basis and on an ad hoc basis. Even if you are unable to apply during the regular application period, you can still apply for qualification on an ad hoc basis.

For wards, cities, towns, and villages within Tokyo, with the exception of some municipalities, we offer a "Jointly Operated Electronic Procurement Service" that accepts applications jointly. If you wish to participate in bidding projects ordered by wards, cities, towns, and villages, you must register here. Applications for initial competitive bidding registration and review are accepted at any time, and the validity period is from the month following the fiscal year ending month immediately preceding the month in which the registration application is approved until the end of the month one year and eight months later. If you wish to continue registering after the validity period, you will need to submit a renewal application.

Please note that local governments and some administrative associations other than the Tokyo metropolitan area, wards, cities, towns and villages that accept applications through the Tokyo Metropolitan Electronic Procurement System and Jointly Operated Electronic Procurement Service accept applications on their own.
