■What prompted you to consider outsourcing when obtaining licenses for investment management etc.?
After deciding to obtain a license, I did a lot of internal research and went through trial and error.
In the end, we came to the conclusion that we couldn't get started without first recruiting people, so we decided to consult with outside experts to help us put the organization in place.
■Why did you choose our company?
It all started with an introduction from a law firm.
The deciding factors were that it was close to our office making it easy to get there for consultations, and that the support staff was knowledgeable in financial and real estate procedures and had a proven track record.
I realized later that I thought the price was very reasonable for the service provided.
■Please tell us what you think was good about your experience using our services.
The most important thing was that the response was quick and accurate, which was common to all staff.
I was also grateful that they not only helped me with the procedures for obtaining the license, but also gave me in-depth advice showing me the relevant provisions and examples from other companies.
I was also impressed that they gave clear, black and white answers to our questions and inquiries, without giving vague answers.
Also, perhaps because there were many women, they had strong communication skills and good relationships with the government officials in charge, so it was reassuring to receive feedback that captured their impressions of the officials.

In addition to the procedures we requested this time, we also received advice on the next licenses we should obtain, with an eye on our future business prospects.
It would be helpful if you could provide consulting on the preparations for obtaining this certification (securing the necessary personnel, obtaining qualifications, etc.).
■Your work will begin soon, but how do you expect to be involved with our company?
In the future, we will consider practical support such as ``various procedures with multiple governments and associations'' and ``internal audit support.''
In addition, as the authorities have recently been making regulations regarding IT-related matters stricter, we would also like you to provide us with information on practical aspects related to IT and systems.
In order to more effectively promote future business development, we are also considering forming an advisory board that includes external experts, and would like to hear a variety of opinions and information on industry trends, etc.

In about 10 months, including the preparation period, we completed registration as an investment management business (discretionary) and general real estate investment advisory business.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been many changes in the responses of the government and associations, and it was a time when many things were unpredictable, but we felt like we were part of Meridia Asset Management Co., Ltd. and worked together to overcome various challenges.
As the company plans to continue expanding into various new business areas in the finance and real estate fields, which are our specialties, we would like to utilize all of our knowledge and know-how to support them in moving their business forward more efficiently and effectively.
