Steps for setting up a Hong Kong branch office in Japan and starting operations

Application for registration of establishment of foreign company business office to Legal Affairs Bureau
We will prepare attached documents such as certified affidavits and apply for registration to the competent legal affairs bureau through our affiliated judicial scrivener.
Registration will be completed in approximately one week after applying for registration to the Legal Affairs Bureau, and you will be able to obtain a certified copy of the registration.
Business begins after obtaining permits, opening a bank account, submitting tax-related notifications, etc.

Affidavit certification procedure
If the representative of the Japanese branch is Chinese, the affidavit authentication procedure will be carried out at the consulate; if the representative is not Chinese, the procedure cannot be carried out at the consulate, so the procedure will be carried out by the Chinese representative of the parent company.
