If the main office is located within one ordinance-designated city, the office shall be located in that ordinance-designated city; if the main office is located within a single prefecture, the office shall be located in that prefecture; and if the main office is located in multiple prefectures, the office shall be located in that ordinance-designated city. The process is to submit documents to the prefecture where your main office is located.
③: Public Inspection
The competent authority (ordinance-designated city or prefecture) that receives the application documents will decide whether to certify or disapprove within four months from the date of receiving the documents.
The publication will last for two months.
④:Authentication
The competent authority (ordinance-designated city or prefecture) that receives the application documents will decide whether to certify or disapprove within four months from the date of receiving the documents.
⑤: Registration
Certification by the competent authority is prior approval before registering an NPO corporation.
After the certification is completed, you will be required to register.
Applications for registration should be made to the Legal Affairs Bureau that has jurisdiction over the location of the main office.
The deadline for applying to the Legal Affairs Bureau is within two weeks after receiving the certificate.
⑥: Completed NPO incorporation
After filing an application with the Legal Affairs Bureau, if no corrections are made, the process will be to become a corporation.
⑦:Report
Once registration with the Legal Affairs Bureau is complete, we will report the completion of registration in writing to the competent authority that certified the NPO corporation.
