What is the Promotion Project for Recycling Used Residential Solar Panels?

In order to promote the recycling of used residential solar panels,

Waste generators that recycle solar panels at intermediate industrial waste treatment facilities designated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, or waste generators

This scheme subsidizes part of the recycling costs for owners who entrust their items to the recycling center.

Eligible persons

　① Emissions business operators contracted by owners of residential solar panels (※)

　②Owners of residential solar panels that have been entrusted to waste-emitting businesses

　　　*House manufacturers, remodelers, demolition contractors, etc.

Implementation year

　　From fiscal year 5 to fiscal year 9

Reception period

　　From April 5, 6th year of Reiwa to March 1st, 9th year of Reiwa

Subsidy

　　The power output (kW) of used residential solar panels multiplied by 25,000 yen

　　*The power output of used residential solar panels is in kW, rounded down to two decimal places.

　　* Any fraction less than 1,000 yen will be rounded down.

Process to receive subsidy

Emissions businesses contracted by residential solar panel owners who want to take advantage of subsidies;

The owner of the residential solar panel that has been entrusted to the waste disposal company must apply to our company (see the diagram below).

Therefore, subsidies can be used as a sales tool to propose to owners of residential solar panels.

* If a subsidy application is handled by someone other than an administrative scrivener, it may be in violation of the law.

Reward table

We will inform you of the compensation for supporting your subsidy application, depending on the amount of the subsidy, as follows:
Calculation is based on a step-wise formula (excess progressive).

【One case】

If the subsidy amount is 1,000 million yen, then 70 + 40 = 1,100,000 yen or more (tax included)

• 500 million yen x 14% = 70 yen
• 500 million yen x 8% = 40 yen

70 + 40 = 1,100,000 yen (tax included)

*Minimum remuneration: 200,000 yen

*Depending on the number and content of your request, we may be able to offer a volume discount from the above amount.
