On November 28, 2025, the Cabinet approved the FY2025 supplementary budget, which includes the "Home Energy Conservation 2026 Campaign," which will have a major impact on trends in the housing industry. This is a large-scale subsidy project implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of the Environment, as in the previous fiscal year.
Each of our affiliated companies is using subsidies to boost orders, and we are also collaborating with them to support the application process.

The supplementary budget for fiscal year 7 is as follows:

・Advanced Window Renovation 2026 Project (Ministry of the Environment) 1,125 billion yen
・Hot Water Energy Conservation 2026 Project (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) 570 billion yen
・2026 Project for Energy-Saving Hot Water Supply for Rental Apartments (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) 35 billion yen
・Mirai Eco Housing 2026 Project (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) 300 billion yen (renovation)

Changes and key points from the Child-Rearing Green Housing Support Program
■Construction projects commencing on or after November 28, 2025 are eligible for subsidies.
*Changed from "commencement of construction work after foundation work" to "commencement of work after completion of foundation work".
■ The subsidy amount for the category applicable to all households (GX-oriented housing) will be reduced.
There is also an additional subsidy amount for cold regions.
Subsidy amount: FY6 160 million yen/household → FY7 110 million yen/household (125 million yen/household)
■ An upper limit has been set on the number of applications for subsidies related to GX-oriented housing (an upper limit for each business operator).
■ Due to the widespread adoption of ZEH standards, the ZEH standard/custom-built housing program will be terminated ahead of schedule at the end of September 2026.
■ Subsidies for long-term superior housing and ZEH-standard housing will be reduced.
The amount of the subsidy differs depending on whether the rebuilding project involves the demolition of the existing house or not.
■When constructing a new "GX-oriented home," "long-term excellent home," or "ZEH-standard home"
A "Statement of Initiatives to Secure Workforce" is required when registering as a business.

Renovation

■Construction projects starting on or after November 28, 2025 are eligible for subsidies.
■The target residences are, in principle, residences that were newly built before 28.
■ Subsidies will now be provided for renovations that bring energy-saving performance up to the level of the 28 and 11 standards.
■ Mandatory construction work (required construction work) includes structural insulation renovation of openings, exterior walls, floors, roofs and ceilings, and installation of specific eco-friendly housing equipment.
Therefore, if the renovation is carried out using a combination designated and publicly announced, the subsidized work will be eligible for the subsidy.
* "A combination of renovated parts and equipment based on the energy-saving performance before and after renovation."
■ High-efficiency air conditioners and ventilation systems are now included in the mandatory installation of eco-friendly housing equipment.
■ Subsidies have been increased by approximately 20% for most eligible equipment. Subsidies for glass replacement, interior window replacement, exterior window replacement (demolition), etc. in detached houses.
The amounts are now the same, making it easier to apply using just one Mirai Eco application.
■Regarding insulation improvements for openings, the subsidy amount will be changed to a more detailed setting according to the performance category.
■If you are carrying out renovations under other constituent projects (such as the Advanced Window Renovation 2026 project), please submit a single grant application.
Applications are accepted for a total subsidy amount of 2 yen or more.
