On November 28, 2025, the Cabinet approved the FY2025 supplementary budget, which includes the "Home Energy Conservation 2026 Campaign," which will have a major impact on trends in the housing industry. This is a large-scale subsidy project implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of the Environment, as in the previous fiscal year.
Each affiliated company is taking advantage of subsidies to promote orders, and we are working with them to support them with the application procedures.

The supplementary budget for fiscal year 7 is as follows:
・Advanced Window Renovation 2026 Project (Ministry of the Environment) 1,125 billion yen
・Hot Water Energy Conservation 2026 Project (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) 570 billion yen
・2026 Project for Energy-Saving Hot Water Supply for Rental Apartments (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) 35 billion yen
・Mirai Eco Housing 2026 Project (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) 300 billion yen (renovation)

This is a subsidy provided jointly by three ministries (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and Ministry of the Environment).
Subsidies available for renovation work
1. Target
The subsidy recipients and subsidy amounts are as follows:
High-insulation window renovations, high-performance water heaters, bathroom and kitchen equipment replacements, and insulation of floors and ceilings
Subsidies of up to 200 million yen or more will be provided.
Another feature is that it can often be used in conjunction with local government subsidies, but the challenge is managing deadlines.
We provide support according to the application deadlines when subsidies are used in combination.
2. Advanced Window Renovation 2026 Project (Can be used to renovate high-insulation windows, sashes, etc.)
Subsidy amount: Up to 1 million yen per household
Requirements: Thermal conductivity (Uw value) of 1.9 or less, etc., Building Materials Top Runner System 2030
Those that exceed the target level or meet other requirements*
Subsidy amount: Fixed amount depending on the construction work
Target: Windows (glass and sash) in residential and some non-residential buildings
Insulation renovation work (installation of interior windows, replacement of exterior windows, glass replacement), etc.
3.Mirai Eco Housing 2026 Project (Can be used for high-insulation windows, insulation materials, eco-friendly equipment, etc.)
・Support is provided for renovations* that ensure a certain level of energy-saving performance, depending on the energy-saving performance of the target home.
* "Renovation parts and energy saving performance before renovation" and "energy saving performance after renovation"
The "equipment combination" will be designated and announced in advance (but has not yet been announced).
- When renovating a home to accommodate childcare or make it barrier-free, we will provide a fixed amount of support depending on the work being done.
4. Hot Water Energy Conservation 2026 Project(Can be used to install a high-efficiency water heater)
New construction (Mirai Eco Housing 2026 Project)
For new construction, GX-oriented housing will be available to all households, as it was in fiscal 6.
This subsidy is in such high demand that the budget for fiscal year 2024 is expected to be met by July 22, 2025.
If the contract involves starting foundation work after 28/11/2025, you may be able to apply.
The key is to understand the requirements and inform the construction client as early as possible.
