We have started accepting application documents for Home Energy Conservation 2025 and renovation subsidy applications.
The schedule for the Child-rearing Green Housing Support Project, other than new construction, has also been made public, and the project is now officially underway.

Renovation and overall schedule

◆Grant application period　

April 2025, 4 (start of acceptance of attached documents) - until the budget limit is reached (no later than December 14, 2025)　　　　　　　　

• One-stop application (household-specific) acceptance begins April 2025, 4
• Applications (lump sum) will be accepted from May 2025, 5
• One-stop application (bulk application) acceptance begins May 2025, 5　　　　　　

◆Reservation period for issuance application　

April 2025, 4 (start date for accepting attached documents)

There seems to be some flexibility in the schedule, but the project will finish once the budget is met.
We recommend that you apply as soon as possible.
The budget for the removal of hot water energy saving facilities is set to be 32 billion yen this year.
Last year, 10% of the budget had been met by October, and applications closed on November 80th.
Please be particularly careful if you are applying for the removal surcharge for energy saving hot water supply.

Application preparation

So what do you need to apply?
To apply, first register a central account and link it to your agent account.
After you apply for an account, you will receive an email from the secretariat.
Please be able to respond via email.
To apply, you will need a person in charge account. Please be sure to link your account.

【Required documents】

• Seal certificate (Corporate: Issued by the Legal Affairs Bureau / Sole proprietor: Personal seal certificate)
• Certificate of corporate registration (not required for sole proprietors)
• Bankbook etc. that can confirm the account information you are applying for registration

Application Approved

If you plan to apply for a grant, start preparing before construction begins.

【Required documents】

• Joint Implementation Agreement (varies depending on the project)
• Construction contract
• Photos before and after construction
• Identity verification letter
• Performance certificate, receipt, etc.

Among the many deficiencies that the secretariat instructed us to correct last year were construction photographs.
In particular, pre-construction photos cannot be retaken, so please take them according to the secretariat's instructions.
Please also note that there have been changes to the "exemption from submitting pre-construction photos."
