About independent living assistance
Part of the law for comprehensively supporting the daily and social lives of people with disabilities has been revised, and people with disabilities who have been using support facilities for people with disabilities, group homes, etc. and wish to live alone are required to do so. Independent living assistance was established as a service that provides regular home visits and necessary support to supplement people's understanding and ability to live.
Main requirements
Operating entity
The applicant must be a person who provides in-home care, home-visit care for severe cases, accompanying support, behavioral support, overnight independence training, communal living support, a support facility for persons with disabilities, or a designated consultation support business.
Personnel standards
・Administrator: 1 person
・Service manager:
〇If the number of users is 30 or less, one or more
〇If the number of users is 31 or more, one person per person, if the number of users exceeds 60, one or more per 40 people.
・Community life support worker:
It is recommended that there be at least one person for every 25 users, and if the number exceeds 25, the number of users should be increased each time.
Handling the number of users
The number of users is the average value of the previous year. In the case of a new establishment or if the previous year has less than one year of experience, the following will apply.
・If it has been less than 6 months since the time of new establishment...approximately 90% of users who register at the time of new application
・If it has been 6 months or more but less than 1 year since the new establishment...The total number of users in the most recent 6 months divided by 6
・If more than one year has passed since the new establishment...The total number of users in the most recent year divided by 12
Equipment standards
An office and reception space (consultation room) will be required.
If it does not interfere with business, it is possible to combine work with other businesses.
