Non-residential subsidies

Project to promote price reductions for solar power generation equipment, etc., in order to achieve storage parity.

Updated: July 2026, 4

Subsidy application assistance service for projects promoting price reductions for solar power generation equipment, etc., to achieve storage parity.

Changes from the previous version

Changes to the submission deadline and procedures for completion reports.

Bringing the submission deadline forwardThe deadline for submitting the completion report has been set to the earlier of either "within 30 days of the date the subsidized project passed inspection" or "February 10, 2027".

Pre-submission before payment is completed. To ensure sufficient review time, you are required to submit the report in advance once the subsidized equipment has passed inspection, even if payments to contractors and other parties have not yet been completed. Payment certificates will then be submitted separately once payments are finalized.

2. Addition of security requirements for IoT products

This public offering adds a requirement that, in principle, when introducing equipment with IP communication capabilities (equipment covered by the JC-STAR system), products that have obtained the "JC-STAR conformity label (★1 or higher)" from IPA (Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan) must be used.

Subsidy overview

This project supports private companies and other organizations in introducing self-consumption type solar power generation equipment and storage batteries that utilize rooftops and other open spaces. This aims to promote price reductions for solar power generation equipment and storage batteries, achieve storage parity (a state where installing storage batteries is more economically beneficial than not installing them when installing solar power generation equipment), and ultimately contribute to regional decarbonization and improved disaster resilience.

What is storage parity?

Storage parity refers to a situation where using a battery storage system in conjunction with a solar power generation system becomes economically advantageous. Solar power generation is a system that generates electricity using solar energy, and on sunny days, electricity is generated thanks to sunlight, eliminating the need for normal electricity use and resulting in savings. However, there is no guarantee of sunny weather all year round, and solar power generation is not possible on cloudy or rainy days. In this case, normal electricity use becomes necessary. With a battery storage system, it becomes possible to store the electricity generated by solar energy, and by using the stored electricity when the weather is bad, there is no need to use normal electricity. By keeping electricity on a battery storage system, savings are always achieved. Moving towards such a direction where electricity costs are kept as low as possible is the definition of storage parity. However, storage parity is not achieved simply by installing a battery storage system. Conditions such as the total amount of savings in running costs exceeding the cost of installing the battery storage system are necessary.

Do you have this problem?

  • The application categories and requirements are complex, and it's difficult to know which method is right for your company: The application categories and requirements that must be met vary considerably depending on the implementation method.
  • The required documents are numerous, and there are concerns about rejection due to deficiencies: This subsidy has strict rules in place, where even minor deficiencies or omissions in documents (such as calculation errors or inconsistencies in the description) can result in rejection without even being reviewed, leading many to feel anxious about preparing the necessary documents.
  • To save time and effort on electronic applications (J-Grants) and deadline management: This subsidy is generally submitted through the electronic application system "J-Grants," and you will need to obtain a "G-Biz ID" in advance.

Benefits of requesting

Accurate consulting based on specialized knowledge

We leverage our expertise in complex regulatory rules (such as calculating rebate amounts and determining appropriate scales) and business plan certification for renewable energy projects like solar power generation to provide optimal advice.

High-precision document creation and reduction of the risk of errors

We minimize the risk of rejection due to deficiencies by providing appropriate advice on tedious document creation, such as expense calculations and consistency checks of drawings and estimates.

Schedule and related permit management

We support schedule management to tight project completion deadlines, allowing employees to focus on their core business.

Keeping up-to-date with the latest information on legal revisions, etc.

We have a system in place to quickly grasp and respond to the latest information that affects our business, including changes to subsidy rules, renewable energy-related laws and regulations, and related ordinances.

Process to receive subsidy

Applicants who wish to utilize subsidies commission construction work to a contractor, and that contractor then submits the application to our company. (See diagram below) Therefore, our customers can use subsidies as a sales tool to propose to applicants (clients).

Reward table

From 30 yen (excluding tax)

We will provide an estimate on a case-by-case basis, depending on the estimated subsidy amount, urgency, etc.

*Invoices will be issued for the month in which the application is submitted after the completion of the construction work.
*If your application is not selected, you will not receive any compensation.
