Locally produced and consumed renewable energy and energy storage facility promotion project [for businesses]

Businesses that install locally produced and consumed renewable energy power generation facilities or renewable energy heat utilization facilities, renewable energy facilities that contribute to regional revitalization in Tokyo, or standalone storage battery installations within Tokyo or outside the city (within the Tokyo Electric Power Company area*) will be eligible for subsidies to cover part of the costs associated with the installation of such facilities (excluding the portion used for residential purposes).

*Tokyo, Kanagawa Prefecture, Saitama Prefecture, Chiba Prefecture, Tochigi Prefecture, Gunma Prefecture, Ibaraki Prefecture, Yamanashi Prefecture, Shizuoka Prefecture (east of the Fuji River)

Grant recipients are private businesses (private companies, educational institutions, public interest incorporated foundations, medical corporations, social welfare corporations, etc.).

What is a locally produced and consumed renewable energy power generation facility?

This refers to equipment that has not been certified under Article 9, Paragraph 4 of the Act on Special Measures Concerning the Promotion of the Use of Electricity from Renewable Energy Sources, its auxiliary equipment, and storage batteries installed in conjunction with such equipment.

Regarding storage batteries, products made of reused items and sold as such are also included.

The process for receiving a subsidy

Applicants who wish to utilize the subsidy request construction work from a construction company, and the construction company then applies to our company (see the diagram below).
