Introduction of selected cases
Updated: July 2024, 4
Our company has supported numerous subsidy applications.
The total number of subsidy applications we have supported so far is over 3000!
At our company, we utilize our extensive experience to listen to our customers' situations and provide consulting services up to the point of applying for subsidies.
On this page, we will introduce case studies of customers we have actually supported, along with key points for adoption.
Case ①: Exhibition booth construction company AGAIN
Basic Information
AGAIN (tentative name) was founded in 25.
This company is a company that provides services for creating model rooms and booth samples for homes and offices upon request from agents of remodeling companies and design companies, and exhibiting them at exhibitions.
We have a large number of experienced field workers who boast high technical skills, and we also have our own factory, so our strength is that we can flexibly respond to any request using only our own resources.
Exhibitions were held every week, and employees were able to create various model rooms, allowing them to work with a fresh mindset.
Although the number of employees is small at 14, the business was stable with sales of approximately 2019 million yen in the first half of 2.

How I applied for the small business sustainability subsidy
However, since the spring of 2020, AGAIN has been hit hard by the new coronavirus.
Due to a series of exhibitions being canceled, the number of jobs has decreased by 9%.
Although I have stepped up my sales activities in an attempt to get some work, I can't get any new projects.
At the request of the building owner and client, we had no choice but to refrain from having our employees come to the production site.
result,Sales in the first half of 2020 were approximately 1000 million yen. Sales dropped to 1/1 in one year.
Although I was able to get a loan from the bank, it is not a fundamental solution as I have lost my job.
When I was at a loss as to what to do next, I heard about the ``Small Business Sustainability Subsidy'' from a fellow business owner.
I thought about whether this subsidy could be used to overcome the current situation, and as a result, I looked for a company that could support me in applying for the subsidy.I was introduced to a company by a social and labor consultant who had been working with me for a long time, and I was introduced to Support Administrative Scrivener Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "SG"). ''), I decided to consult with them.
Through consultation, Mr. Yamada (pseudonym), AGAIN's representative, realized that this subsidy could be used for ``exhibiting at online exhibitions.''
An online exhibition is an exhibition where customers are asked to view a model room created mainly as CG online, rather than having them come to a real booth, and it has suddenly become an exhibition style for With Corona and After Corona. It's something that got a lot of attention.
In fact, AGAIN knew about the existence of the online exhibition even before consulting SG.
I had already received an invitation to exhibit at an online exhibition, but I was hesitant because it was a completely new business.
Before consulting with SG, I had not been able to create a concrete image of how to get a new business off the ground, but as we worked together from the preliminary consultation stage to think about the business plan and application details, I realized that if I worked hard, I could make it happen. I'm starting to think so.
Now that the number of existing jobs has drastically decreased, I wanted to try something new, so I decided to use the subsidy as an initial investment to start a business exhibiting at online exhibitions.
I thought that if we were going to go with the trends of the times, now was the time.
Mr. Yamada decided to formally request application support from SG because SG was a success fee, the request amount was clear, and the initial response was kind.
After that, business planning began in earnest.
While thinking about the business plan and application details (work flow, feasibility, demand, etc.) with SG, we also realized that the demand for online exhibitions during With Corona and After Corona seemed to be higher than we initially expected. I'm here.
We also worked closely with the person in charge to develop a concrete image of the business flow and sales plan. How will AGAIN, which creates real model room and booth samples, enter into online exhibitions that mainly feature CG booths? Here, AGAIN's strength of being able to flexibly respond to any request using only its own resources was put to maximum use.
Key points for selection
There are two main types of projects planned by AGAIN.Video exhibition"When"Outsourcing of CG booth using video as sample".
"Video exhibition" means creating a booth at your own factory, filming a video of the created booth, and publishing the video as a sample at an online exhibition.
By creating an actual booth, we can propose booth samples that are more realistic and three-dimensional than CG.
Additionally, because we can produce multiple booths simultaneously and produce props in-house, we are able to quickly propose a variety of high-quality booth samples.
Furthermore, by outsourcing the production of CG booths based on video footage of actual booths, we are now able to create more realistic CG booths.
In this way, I came up with a unique business plan that leveraged my strengths, and my expectations for the online exhibition continued to grow.
However, if it is not adopted, the subsidy will of course not be given.
In any case, I was thinking of entering into online exhibitions, but with sales already declining dramatically, I would like to avoid additional expenses as much as possible. Even after applying, I was nervous every day until the results were announced.
And then it was the day the selection results were announced.
I was relieved when I received a phone call from the person in charge of SG informing me that my application had been accepted.
The stability of the company's management will immediately increase as the company will have two pillars: existing business and new business.
At the same time, you will feel a sense of security about this, and at the same time, use this as an opportunity to ride the trends of the times and grow even further! My enthusiasm grew even more.
We also hired new employees.
After being selected and receiving the grant, we were able to begin our new project in earnest and take a new step forward.
On the other hand, it is difficult to predict how far digitalization will progress in the future.
Summary
In the post-corona era, if the trend of remote exhibitions and social distancing disappears, demand may return to physical exhibitions.
Still, it was fortunate for both the company and Mr. Yamada that we were able to overcome the unprecedented crisis of the coronavirus pandemic by turning it into an opportunity to expand into new businesses.
Employees and customers alike were a little confused about the new attempt of an online exhibition, but more than that, they were excited.
Nowadays, physical exhibitions are gradually returning.
From now on, AGAIN will focus on real exhibitions, and I think it would be interesting to continue working on the CG booth as an option while maximizing our original strengths.
Case ②: Used office furniture purchaser/seller in Chiyoda Ward
~HP renovation, opening of EC site~
The business we assisted with this application was primarily engaged in the purchase and sale of used office furniture in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.
How I applied for the low-infection-risk business framework
As part of our non-face-to-face business, we will build a new EC site and renew the existing site.
We applied for this subsidy to develop new sales channels.
Additionally, because the business in question was small with about 10 employees, it was eligible for this subsidy.
There is a possibility that micro businesses and small businesses are eligible for this small business sustainability subsidy, so please check it out.
Key points for selection
There are two main points in the adopted business plan.
⑴ Clear business plan for HP renovation and EC site construction
Regarding the construction of a new EC site and the renewal of an existing site, we have summarized in detail in our business plan what kind of system we will use to build it and which parts will be renewed.
In this case, we divided the existing website into two sites, one for purchasing office furniture and the other for selling it, and created a new inquiry form on the purchasing site.
(2) Estimation of sales increase
We have provided a realistic and detailed description of how the sales of this business will change by using this subsidy.
