　Labor productivity improvement goal

Small and medium-sized enterprises and other businesses that apply for grants under this program must formulate a business plan to increase labor productivity by a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.0% or more each year for three years after the end of the subsidy program, compared to the time of application. If their application is approved, they must work toward that plan.

If this is your second or subsequent application, you will need to develop and implement a business plan to achieve a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2% or more.

Registration process for labor-saving products, manufacturers, and sellers

01 Application for product registration

First, manufacturers of labor-saving products apply for product registration review to the industrial association for the products they plan to register.

When applying, documents related to the product and corporation are required, and if any deficiencies are found, the review time will be longer, and in the worst case, the review may be rejected (this has happened many times in the past with other subsidies). Caution is required.

02 Product review by industry association

The industry association will examine the submitted products, including whether they lead to labor savings or are cost-effective.Examination in line with labor-saving standardsto hold.

Labor-saving product requirements

Manufacturers considering registration should check whether they meet the following requirements.

01 Basic Information

Expenses required to purchase mechanical equipment + dedicated software, information systems, etc. are eligible for assistance.

The product's functionality matches one of the business areas (processes) of the corresponding industry within the product category.

The product must not be a standalone product that does not operate or provide labor-saving effects.

It is a general-purpose product and is not intended for development.

Regarding components such as peripheral devices, if they are inseparable from the product itself or if their presence brings about additional labor-saving effects, only the minimum necessary product and peripheral devices, etc. shall be registered as one package.

Sales have commenced, and there is a track record of manufacturing and selling the product at one or more companies.

02 About product performance and price

The price of the product itself must be 500,000 yen or more (not significantly higher than the maximum subsidy amount).　

The applied price is reasonable (not applicable if it is significantly higher than the market price)

Calculate the labor-saving effect according to the labor-saving index set for each industry and exceed the specified standard value.

03 About the supply system
