Support type

Start-up support type (Type I)

The project must be a subsidized project with the following contents.


①Development or production of new products
②Development or provision of new services
③Introduction of new production or sales methods for products
④Introducing a new method of providing services
⑤ Advance into new fields through business transformation
⑥In addition to the above, expansion of sales channels, development of new markets, improvement of productivity, etc. through other new business activities, etc.

Management change type/M&A type(Type II/Type III)

① Either A or B below must be met.
 
A.Requirements for new business development, etc.

  • The business plan must include any of the following: "development or production of a new product," "development or provision of a new service," or "expansion into a new field through business transformation."
  • The organization plans to increase the number of employees by one or more during a period determined by the Secretariat.

B.Productivity improvement requirements

 Between April 2017, 4 and the issuance application date, the successor

 Must be certified as either a "Advanced Equipment Introduction Plan" or a "Management Innovation Plan."

②The representative must meet one of the following requirements.

(1) A (business) person with management experience

 ・Person with 3 years or more of experience as an officer of another company

 ・Person with 3 years or more of experience as a sole proprietor

 *The above criteria must be exceeded by December 2021, 12.
 

(2) A (business) person who has practical experience in the same industry.

 ・Persons who have been employed and engaged in work for a target company/individual business for 6 years or more

 ・Person who has a total of 6 years or more of experience working in the same industry as the target company/individual business

 *The above criteria must be exceeded by December 2021, 12.
 

(3) A (business) person who has attended training related to founding and succession.

 

Utilization of experts (buyer support type)

① The applicant must be a recently established small-to-medium sized business, etc. that has taken over management resources that function as an organic unit from a person who is planning to go out of business, and must meet the following requirements.

  • Taking advantage of the management resources inherited from the company's founding,Engage in management innovation, etc.Be a person.
  • Applicants must have a certain level of achievements and knowledge, such as being a recipient of a specific startup support program provided by a city, town or village certified under the Act on Strengthening Industrial Competitiveness, or a certified collaborative startup support business.

② The applicant is a small to medium-sized company, etc. that plans to receive management resources due to business restructuring or business integration, and must meet all of the following requirements.

  • After acquiring management resources due to business restructuring and business integration,Management innovation that takes advantage of synergiesThe applicant is expected to do the following.
  • After acquiring management resources due to business restructuring and business integration,Businesses that drive the entire local economy, including local employmentbe expected to do so.

Utilization of experts (seller support type)

The applicant is a small or medium-sized company that plans to transfer its management resources due to business restructuring or business integration, and must meet the following requirements.

Overview of the recruitment conditions

① Adopted 4 times by FY4

② Subsidies will be provided to approximately 1,500 people in total.

③ The maximum subsidy amount for part of the project cost will be changed to 600 million yen (subject to change depending on conditions).

④Changing the type and requirements of those eligible for assistance

(1) Management innovation business

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and micro-enterprises (hereinafter referred to as small and medium-sized enterprises, etc.) who have completed business succession or business transfer within the past three to four years, or who plan to complete business succession or business transfer within the subsidy project period. SMEs, etc. who have developed a 3-5 year business plan and have had their plan confirmed by a certified management innovation support organization, and who meet any of the following requirements: . (Requirements are subject to change.)

[Requirements]

① Be a small business operator under the Small and Medium Enterprise Basic Act.

② Ordinary income must be in the red in the immediately preceding fiscal year.

③ Sales have decreased compared to before the coronavirus.

④ Have received support from the Small and Medium Enterprise Revitalization Support Council.

⑤ The entire amount of subsidized expenses contributes to digitalization and greening.

⑥ The business plan submitted is a new business, for example, a business that falls under the definition of "business restructuring" as shown in the business restructuring guidelines.

(2) Expert utilization project

Small and medium-sized enterprises that transfer or receive management resources during the period of the subsidy project and meet the separate requirements. The requirements will be announced in the public recruitment guidelines for indirectly subsidized businesses.

(3) Business closure/re-challenge support type

Those who close down business due to business succession or handover, those who close down business when starting new initiatives after business succession or handover, and those who close down business in order to take on a new challenge even though business succession or handover has not been realized. Those who fall under the category of small and medium-sized enterprises, etc.
