Business Management Visa | Support Administrative Scrivener Corporation

Written by: Visa Officer Enmai Oki For those aiming to obtain a business management visa, it is extremely important to understand the examination trends of each local immigration bureau. The Immigration Services Agency is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice, and basically all local bureaus nationwide operate based on the same guidelines. However, by submitting a large number of applications to immigration bureaus throughout the country every month, we are able to quickly grasp the unique trends and priority items of each region. New examination trends at Nagoya Immigration Bureau Recently, the Nagoya Immigration Bureau has been increasingly requesting the following additional documents: 1. A detailed explanation prepared by the applicant themselves regarding the circumstances under which the capital amount was formed (e.g., including specific numerical basis for savings) 2. Supporting documents showing the basis for the formation of the capital amount (e.g., employment certificate from the home country, income certificates and tax certificates for the past three years issued by the home country's government, etc.) While it has always been necessary for applicants to prove the source of the capital they invested, the demand for such detailed documents has become particularly noticeable since the latter half of 2024. Our internal investigation has revealed that other regional immigration offices (e.g., Tokyo Immigration Bureau or Osaka Immigration Bureau) do not require such detailed documentation. If you are unsure about preparing the documents, please leave it to us. Detailed documentation regarding the source of capital and the history of investment formation is a significant burden for ordinary applicants. In such cases, please consult with our experts.
