1. Obtain a “Certificate of Marriage Requirements” for the person (Japanese)

(Application destination: Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
↓

4. Apply for marriage registration in China and obtain a “marriage certificate”

Changing Chinese family register from "unmarried" to "married"
If you perform marriage procedures in Japan first, you will not be able to apply for marriage registration in China.
A "marriage certificate" will not be issued.
