About changing to a working visa

 

We receive consultations about changing from a "dependent stay" visa to a work visa such as "specialist in humanities/international services."

 

I think it is possible to change if the situation meets the qualification requirements for a work visa.

You cannot become a full-time employee if you work as a store clerk or a factory worker.

It is likely that you will obtain a "permission to engage in activities other than that permitted under the status of residence previously granted" and work part-time.

 

You may be able to obtain a work visa even if you graduate from a vocational school and have a "professional" qualification.
