We often receive inquiries from married people who wish to change to a “dependent stay” visa.
Just because you're married doesn't necessarily mean you have to change.
If you get a “Dependent Stay” visa, you will need “permission to engage in activities other than that permitted under the status of residence previously granted” in order to work.
Time is also limited. Even if the person making the change has the requirements to be able to apply for a “work” visa;
