When a person in Japan on a dependent visa is offered a full-time job at a part-time job,
Can I easily change my visa?
Those with a dependent visa can only work within the hours permitted by their permission to engage in activities other than that permitted under the status of residence previously granted.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was talk of full-time employment.
However, depending on the nature of your work, you may not be able to change your visa to a so-called "work visa."
A work visa is a visa issued to a person who performs a job that requires a foreigner.
