Bento sales on the street

Hello. This is Sudo.

There seems to be an increasing number of vendors who are having sanitary issues with the bento boxes sold on the streets during lunchtime in urban areas.

In some cases, there are cases in which food products do not have the required food labeling or are sold by businesses without notification.

As the weather gets hotter, there are concerns about the risk of food poisoning.

Additionally, ``peddlers'' who only sell bento lunches can operate as long as they notify the public health center if they only sell food without preparing food on the spot.

In light of this current situation, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is considering strengthening regulations. Depending on the regulations, proper hygiene management may be required.

It may also affect business operators. What kind of regulations will there be?

We need to continue to pay attention to this.
