There is a "registration system" for administrative scriveners

When you hear the term "administrative scrivener," many people may imagine someone who prepares documents to be submitted to government offices.
In fact, the credibility of the administrative scrivener qualification is strictly protected by a registration system based on law.

1. What is the process for "registering" an administrative scrivener?

Administrative scriveners cannot perform their duties simply by "having the qualifications."
Administrative scriveners throughout Japan can only officially work as administrative scriveners once they are registered in the "Administrative Scriveners Directory" managed by the Japan Federation of Administrative Scriveners Associations (abbreviated as "JFACS").
Your address, office name, etc. will be listed on the register, and once registration is complete, you will be issued a "certificate of administrative scrivener."

Why is there a registration system?
Ensuring public interest and credibility
Because administrative scriveners are deeply involved in "public procedures" such as company establishment and licensing, a system is needed that allows public institutions to confirm that "this person has the proper knowledge and sense of responsibility."

Transparency in operations
By clearly indicating where the office is located and what qualifications the company holds, clients can place their orders with peace of mind.

2. Can my registration be cancelled?

Once you are registered, it's not like your life is set for good.
There are also legal provisions in place for registration to be cancelled or removed for any reason.
For example, if it is discovered that registration was made through fraudulent means or that an act has been committed that significantly damages the credibility or dignity of an administrative scrivener, the registration will be revoked.

What if I retire or move my office?

Closed business
If you wish to cease being a certified administrative scrivener, you must notify us and have your registration cancelled.

Change
As a general rule, if your address or office location changes, you must "change your registration information"

3. There is also a system called "special administrative scrivener"

Recently, the term "specified administrative scrivener" has also become more common.
This is a system whereby administrative scriveners who have completed a certain level of training are screened by the Japan Federation of Administrative Scriveners Association and are given a notation on the register as "specified administrative scriveners."
The benefit of receiving a supplementary notice is that it will enable you to handle a wider range of work, such as representing clients in administrative appeal procedures.

What if I want to request a "certified administrative scrivener"?

When asking a certified administrative scrivener to do a job, be sure to check the registration number on their "certified administrative scrivener certificate" or business card.
If you are registered, you can use the number to find out where the office is located and when it was registered.
This is a major point that provides peace of mind to users.
In addition, because we are officially registered administrative scriveners, we can provide support based on the law, such as applying for licenses and permits, and preparing various contracts and minutes of meetings.
