Who is eligible for assistance?
To be eligible for the subsidy, you must be a small business. Under the Act on Support for Small Businesses by Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the number of employees in each industry determines whether a business is considered small or not, and the industry is determined based on the type of business currently being conducted or the type of business planned for the future.
How much subsidy can I get?
Eligibility requirements and subsidy amounts vary depending on the application type and application frame.
○ General type (regular category, disaster support category) There is a basic regular category for developing sales channels, and a disaster support category for small businesses affected by disasters. The maximum subsidy for the regular category is 50 yen, while the maximum subsidy for the disaster relief category is 100 million to 200 million yen. In addition, the subsidy limit can be increased by 50 yen by registering an invoice and 150 million yen by raising wages. You can receive a subsidy of up to 250 million yen.
○Start-up type This application category is for small businesses that have received support from "certified municipalities' specific startup support programs." In order to receive certification, you will often be required to attend startup seminars or programs. The subsidy limit is 200 million yen, and an additional 50 yen subsidy limit can be added under the invoice special provisions. You can also receive a subsidy of up to 250 million yen.

Contracts for eligible expenses must be concluded after the grant is approved. *Expenses that are contracted before the grant is approved are not eligible.
